Quotable Quotes

Your disease is from you - yet you do not feel it; while your remedy is within you - but you do not see it. (Sayyidina Ali ibn Abi Talib)

Humour Without Malice

A peasant from the countryside was in the city visiting a relative, who served him tea made with precious Songluo spring water. The peasant enjoyed the tea so much that he said "Excellent!" over and over, and thus his relative thought he could truly appreciate fine things. He asked his country cousin: "Are you referring to the tea or to the water?" The peasant said: "It's the hotness of the tea which I like the most."

Hikmah

Who are the learned? Those who practice what they know. (hadith)
